Already we’ve seen one opening pushed back a week, and a couple of others making adjustments. KCTS’ Long Shorts – 1/2/2012: Some Great, Some Bad, Some In-Between
Though there are venues for local filmmakers to present the fruits of their labor, it could hardly be said that opportunities to reach a large audience are plentiful in the area. KCTS’s Reel NW, a program that’s a little over a year old, represents a rare chance to show a project to a potential audience that reaches most of Western Washington; this last Monday, they aired four short subject films.
