Subhashish Panigrahi is the Asia Community Catalyzer at Mozilla where he divides his time between leading several initiatives for the Campus Clubs program, and the Diversity & Inclusion. Prior to his work at Mozilla, he has worked for about five years with the Wikimedia Foundation and its Indian affiliate the Centre for Internet and Society’s Access to Knowledge. As an educator with over six years of professional experience as a communications expert in the not-for-profit sector, Subhashish was involved in reviving the Odia-language Wikipedia along with a small community 2011. Long time Wikipedia editor and contributor to the Wikimedia movement, author of “Rising Voices: Indigenous language Digital Activism” in Digital Activism in Asia Reader and winner of 2015 Opensource.com People’s Choice Award.
