Ed Piskor is a remarkably gifted comix artist. Best known these days for his brilliant Hip Hop Family Tree, or, if you’re a Marvel Zombie, his retelling of the Marvel Mutant story in X-Men: Grand Design, Piskor started out drawing independent comics. The most famous was likely his work with Harvey Pekar on American Splendor. He then went on to a gig with Adult Swim, and pretty much everything in his career was blowin’ up.
In between those chapters of his storied life, however, he drew Wizzywig Comics, a tribute to phreaks and hackers.
