The Sky Hangs Blue,
Scattering shreds of white cumulus clouds underneath the sun’s rays.
I am looking up into the face of an azure God
Remembering my feet on a leaf-sogged path of woodland park.
I reach up my arms, invisible to the naked eye
And my heart leaps forward past the canopy of trees.
I am more than I could ever seem to be
Though my feet keep my soul from flying.
