I love the work of Andrés Magán. Where many European comix artists show the deep influence of art school studies, his work also reveals his love of American “underground” artists like Charles Burns, Gary Panter and Robert Williams.
I’d chose other examples of his work, but their licensing rights are unclear. Among his Creative Commons work, though, is this piece. Sin Título is a four-page pantomime strip, published originally in Tik Tok Cómics, and as good an introduction to his work as any.
